MUSIC IS REVOLUTION – THE FINAL CHAPTER

Carl.png

On June 14 – September 20, Carl Cox embarks on his last and longest ever season at Space, Ibiza – Music Is Revolution – The Final Chapter.

An iconic season deserves an iconic line up, and this year Carl will be taking a nostalgic look back on his history at the club, bringing back selected DJs from all previous 14 seasons, along with a huge array of new talent. “There’s going to be something for everyone” says Carl. “Whether you’re looking for legendary DJs or brand new talent, we’ll have them all. Lots of great DJs from the early years are coming back to play too, which is going to feel really special.”

With just over 10 weeks to go until the highly anticipated opening party, the line-up is already taking shape and Safehouse Management are now finally ready to reveal just some of the DJs who’ll be joining king Carl. First names confirmed include legendary DJs such as the French-born Francois K, US House heroes Danny Tenaglia and Masters At Work and the illustrious Sasha. On the Techno front there’s heavy weights such as Sweden’s Adam Beyer going b2b with Ida Engberg plus Italy’s Techno masters Marco Carola and Joseph Capriati.

Also returning are Drum and Bass aficionados Andy C & Tonn Piper (All night long), Guy J, Spain’s Uner, Unkle’s James Lavelle and the self-proclaimed House Gangster DJ Sneak. Plus, as always Carl continues to support new talent with Lauren Lo Sung and Eli & Fur also confirmed.

Running for 15 weeks, one week for every year of the residency, Music Is Revolution – The Final Chapter will be the biggest party on the island, guaranteed to go down as the most legendary residency in Ibiza. And, with all early bird tickets selling out in just 24 hours, demand to be part of dance history is already exceeding expectations. Unsurprisingly, tickets for the closing party are already almost sold out, so you’ll need to act fast if you want to witness Carl’s last ever Space show – it will be the only place to be on September 20th with Carl already confirming he’ll be playing all night long.

Carl Cox Confirms his final Ibiza season at Space

Marking the end of an era, Music is Revolution: The Final Chapter sees Carl going out in style for what promises to be the biggest and best season yet. It’ll be 15 weeks, his longest season ever, kicking off on June 14 and running until what’s sure to be an emotional final closing party on 20 September.

Whilst most details are being kept under wraps, plans have already been in motion for some time, with Carl and his team determined to make sure the final chapter of his Space residency goes down as one of the most legendary in dance history.

They’re working hard to make sure they have the best line ups on the island, with lots of surprises planned along the way, and no doubt a few tears. Carl will take a nostalgic look back on his history at the club, bringing back selected DJs from all previous 14 seasons – no mean feat considering the huge numbers that have played alongside Carl since his 2001 debut.

Over the last 15 years Carl and Safehouse have helped establish Space as one of the biggest clubs in the world. With carefully thought out line ups, and as much emphasis on new talent as big names, Carl’s always strived to keep his night at the forefront of Ibiza clubbing making it one of the most successful residencies in Ibiza history. Starting out in 2001 with just 6 nights, his residency grew and adapted as the club did, so it’s fitting it draws to a close as Space itself moves into a new chapter.

Due to the expected demand for tickets, 35 Euro early bird tickets will only be available to those that pre-register. Everyone registered will then receive a link via email to buy tickets on the 27th November at 10am.  Register HERE.

Carl says “We are really honoured to have so many well-respected and legendary DJs playing for us this season. We believe our consistently strong line-ups have played a big part in our long lasting success on the Island as we have become a party that people trust and know will deliver.”

In addition, to the stellar line-up revelations also comes the announcement that Carl will be opening the season with a mammoth not-to-be-missed 10-hour musical marathon. “It just had to be done and where else to do it than at our opening night at Space,” says Carl. “I’m going to dig deep and take everyone on a real journey through Techno and beyond. Carl Cox Space

One of Ibiza’s biggest nights just got even bigger as Carl Cox and Safehouse Management announces the return of ‘Revolution’ to Space, Ibiza, with a host of new changes including two additional nights for summer 2014. There’s now 14 nights of revolution, running between 24th June until 23rd September 2014, in what’s set to be Carl’s longest Space season to date.

Carl’s nights at Space boasts a legendary 12-year history and remains one of the busiest, most talked about, and successful parties on the Island. The season’s expansion not only gives Carl the opportunity to showcase even more of the world’s best DJ talent, that the night is now so synonymous with, but also confirms Carl’s supremacy in Ibiza and marks the start of a new ‘Revolution’.

Carl Cox: “It’s unbelievable this is my 13th year at Space. I really didn’t think we would get past 5 years so I am totally overwhelmed by the night’s success. To be expanding is truly a great sign of the night’s popularity and demand and also allows us to bring even more talent to the island. We are currently putting the finishing touches to this season’s line-up and it’s looking to be one of the biggest yet.”

To accompany the additional nights, the new ‘Revolution’ also keeps things fresh with a striking redesigned logo and an adaptable slogan, which will evolve throughout the summer, with the first statement being ‘Music is Revolution’.
