Carl Cox & Jon Rundell Return to Arches for first set in two years

Friday 12th September – 10pm/3am – £25 + £2.50 BF

Fresh from performing sets at Ibiza’s legendary Space, Cox and Rundell are set to return to Arches in Glasgow.

After a two year absence, Arches welcomes back one of its all-time favourite DJs, in association with Cox’s own Intec Digital label, for a show, which promises to be one of THE nights of the year. Following a summer residency at Space in Ibiza, after a series of Intec-curated nights at Fabric in 2013, Carl Cox is sure to be on world-class form when he hits The Arches in September. Support comes from Intec co-leader and regular collaborator Jon Rundell. Relaunched in 2010 as a digital label after a decade of club smashes and classic 12″s, Intec Digital is now one of the most respected electronic music labels in the world. This showcase event brings the label’s two foremost players, Carl Cox and Jon Rundell, to the decks for an extended session.

Anyone who’s an Arches regular will know that when the man they call Carl Cox is in town, it’s a party not to be missed! As one of the patrons of The Arches, Cox has a long and involved history with Glasgow’s clubbing community, and with The Arches itself, having played many times since the club opened its doors in 1991.

A veteran of acid house and a champion of techno from his early teens, Cox has long been one of dance music’s most important and continually inventive ambassadors. His wide-ranging, crowd-pleasing sets are truly unmissable. You name it, Carl’s been there and done it, and without ever losing sight of the passions spurring him on: playing music, breaking tunes and celebrating life.
